"Newspapers vs. Web 2.0: Comunicating the Value of Membership Through New Versus Traditional Media. Reaching Generation X, Y, Z and Beyond"
Synagogues have a variety of communications tools available to help convey the value of involvement to members and prospects. Come learn how to engage the next generation. Presenters will discuss advantages and disadvantages of traditional and new vehicles: press releases, websites, email, new and old media.
The Membership Chairs Affinity Group serves as a forum for chairs and members of synagogue membership committees to discuss how best to ensure that a congregation’s members are more than just names on a roster list. The Group meets three times a year to discuss how to recruit, retain, and integrate new members into synagogue life. Programs focus on ensuring that members are well-informed, cared for, and listened to.
