Opera in brief of Mozart's The Magic flute Print

Opera Theatre of Montclair will present in brief Mozart's THE MAGIC FLUTE, on Sunday, March 26, 2017, 3 PM, at Temple Emanu-El, 735 Kennedy Boulevard, Bayonne. This fun, interactive version of the classic opera is shortened, family-friendly and narrated. It is fully costumed and staged. There are many opportunities for voluntary audience participation. OTM's all-professional singers and orchestra will be conducted by Dr. Robert Butts. Temple Emanu-El is accessible via public transportation. Off-street parking will be available at St. Henry's Church, on Avenue C, between 28th and 29th Streets (one block away). Tickets may be purchased in advance through Eventbrite: Tickets are priced at $35/each in advance ($40 at the door); $10/each, kids 10-17; FREE under 10. Group tickets are available for $30/each (minimum of 10). Checks may be mailed to Opera Theatre of Montclair, 32 Cloverhill Place, Montclair, NJ 07042. This performance, in memory of Esther Newman, will serve as a joint fundraiser for Temple Emanu-El and the nonprofit Opera Theatre of Montclair.
