| A tractate is a section of Talmud, the great text of Jewish law, which has guided the Jewish people for centuries. Today new tractates are being written about subjects like the Internet, which our ancestors never could have imagined.
Please join us for a discussion led by Cantor Marx and Rabbi Brickman which will focus on the challenges parents face in our day as their children form social networks on web sites like MySpace and Facebook. The presentation will focus on what parents need to know about these social networking web sites and what we can learn from Jewish tradition as children and parents venture into the uncharted waters of the Internet. |
