| Looking for a way to relieve stress after a hard day’s work? Need a break from bad reality TV? Got a new song or poem you’ve been dying to try out before an audience? Just want to grab a cuppa joe and listen to some music?
Then Live From 1050 at the Jewish Community Center of Bayonne is where you want to be.
Live From 1050 - A Coffeehouse, is a place for music and merriment, poetry and pastry, singing and strumming, friends and a fresh pot of coffee. It’s a venue for musicians, artists, actors, singers, etc., to try out new material or to rouse the audience with the tried but true in an intimate setting. It’s not a talent show, so no one will be judged. It is, in fact, a talent “share.” For a small admission fee, spend a Thursday night in an intimate, friendly setting and enjoy coffee, tea and refreshments while enjoying some great entertainment.
Sue Miller, coordinator of the coffeehouse, says, “We’re looking for the finest in area talent. We encourage first-time and seasoned performers to join us.”
Performance slots are limited. Anyone interested in performing should call Sue at
